Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.
A Colorado low is forecast to push northeast toward the Great Lakes this weekend. Snow on the north side of this system will spread into southeastern Manitoba beginning Saturday morning, and ending late Saturday night.
Total snowfalls will range from 10 to 20 cm in the warned regions, with the highest amounts likely in the southeast corner of the province around Sprague. Current indications are that Winnipeg will escape the worst of the system, with increasing amounts as you go south and east of the city.
