Poor driving conditions on the Trans-Canada highway could develop as snow, rain and freezing rain may occur. While no major freezing rain accumulations are expected, roads may become icy in southwestern Manitoba this morning. Picture above depicts road temperatures hovering around the freezing mark.
Later in the afternoon/evening hours, precipitation should spread into southeastern Manitoba. Heavy frost could develop on the roadways and caution is advised for anyone travelleing as roads will be slick with temperatures falling below zero.
