The RCMP just released a statement saying that all major highways across Southern Manitoba will be closed around midnight (CDT) tonight in anticipation of the #blizzard to impact Southern Manitoba.
"In anticipation of the upcoming storm, Manitoba RCMP has decided to close all major highways in southern Manitoba around midnight tonight or when it begins to snow.
Please be advised that travel is strongly discouraged and that alternate plans should be arranged. If you do decide to travel, please be warned that first responders may not be able to get to you if you become stranded or need assistance. "
