29 000+ without power across Manitoba after first round of snow


After the first snowfall of the year for Manitoba, heavy wet snow caused 14 635 customers to be without power (as of 9:30pm CDT) on the first day of this potentially historic winter storm. Below are the current outages, to report or see the updated outages, click the image below:

Roads are not bad at this time, since most of the snow melted on the roadway. Below are the current road conditions, which will worsen overnight and into tomorrow, when the brunt of the storm is expecting to dump an additional 30cm of snow.
