Highway 75 from Winnipeg to the US border is now closed due to bad weather. Poor visibility, recent snowfall and strong winds is causing dangerous driving conditions this evening across the Red River Valley. These conditions should continue overnight and dangerously cold wind chills will once again flood the province.
Blowing snow advisories were in effect by Environment Canada this morning and we had previously advised that possible highway closures could occur around 9pm today based on Weatherlogics app (click).
Conditions as of 8:30pm central time along highway 75 at Emerson, Letellier and Ste. Agathe (respectively).
