To say it is cold in northern Manitoba would be an understanding right now! An Arctic airmass is currently impacting parts of Manitoba. Surprisingly, this extremely cold temperature has not prompted any extreme cold warnings for anywhere in Manitoba, which are usually issued when wind chill gets to -50 in that region.
The temperatures across southern Manitoba are more "moderate", with a breezy -26C feels like -35 for the City of Winnipeg. A warm up is expected starting tomorrow morning.
