 Blowing snow advisory in effect for (areas in grey):

Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected or occurring in some locations. Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow can be expected in southeastern Saskatchewan this evening as a quick moving system brings up to 5 cm of snow to the area combined with winds gusting up to 60 km/h. Conditions should improve overnight as the snow tapers off and winds diminish. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.

 Extreme Cold Warning in effect for (areas in red):

A period of very cold wind chills continues. The coldest wind chill values will be between minus 45 and minus 50. Temperatures are expected to warm slightly by noon on Sunday bringing an end to the extreme cold warning. Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes. Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill. If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside. Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.
